Send a Hanukkah greeting

A Hanukkah greeting on Invitely is a small animated card that opens in the browser: a menorah whose candles light one by one under a starry blue sky, with a short chime. Put their name on it and send the link, and the chat preview already shows the greeting made out to them.

What it says

Happy Hanukkah

Wishing you eight bright nights, warm latkes and a home full of light and the people you love.

How to send a personalised Hanukkah greeting

  1. 1

    Add their name

At the top of this page, open the greeting and tap "Make your own". Type the name of the person it is for, and yours to sign it.

  2. 2

    Send the link

Share it on WhatsApp or anywhere else. Before they even tap, the chat shows a Hanukkah picture with their name on it.

  3. 3

    They open it

The scene lights up with their name, a short chime plays and your wish appears. They can send one back in seconds.

Questions

When is Hanukkah in 2026?
Hanukkah begins at sundown on Friday 4 December 2026 and lasts eight nights, with one more candle lit each night. A greeting fits any evening of the eight, and the first night is when most people send one.
What does chag sameach mean?
It is Hebrew for happy holiday. Chag Chanukah sameach wishes a happy Hanukkah, and chag urim sameach a happy Festival of Lights; both are among the Hebrew wishes on this page.
Is sending a Hanukkah greeting free?
Yes. Making and sending a greeting on Invitely is free and needs no sign-up, and the person you send it to needs no app: the link opens in their phone's browser.
Can I write their name in Hindi?
Yes. Type it in Devanagari, like आशा, and it appears correctly on the greeting and on the picture the chat shows. Names in English and Urdu work too.

Hosting a Hanukkah night?

Make the invitation the same way: pick a cover, share one link and see who is coming. Guests reply without an account.
